The Marratech Manager hosts e-meetings over intranet
/ Internet networks. These meetings can be joined via the
free Marratech client software.
This client can be started from your
browser and is available as a traditional download.
The Manager offers user access and e-meeting room configuration,
making secure and private e-meetings possible over many network
configurations, including IP unicast and multicast as well
as NAT (Network Address Translation) environments.

Before
you start
Before installing the Marratech Manager,
be sure that:
-
Your server meets the minimum requirements.
-
Your server is placed in a central network
location and has access to a minimum
of a T1 line. (if not, please consult on how to place
server nodes on your network).
- You have administrative rights to install.
Other considerations
If your Manager is placed behind a NAT, you will
need to know the public IP address used by the NAT
and configure the NAT with the proper port forwarding
rules. A static IP address is required.
Be careful when using a template design for Seats for creating
Auditoriums. You may get a Room Full error message.
If your Manager is to be accessed by clients located behind
closed firewalls, please consult the firewall appendix located
in this manual.
If the machine running the Manager has a software firewall,
you need to instruct it to allow the Manager to use the
network. For example, Windows XP users will need to configure
the built-in firewall in Control Panel --> Windows Firewall
--> Exceptions --> Add Program.
