More Integration from Web Meeting Portal

SAN FRANCISCO - 11 JANUARY 2005. Marratech, the only complete web conferencing and collaboration solution to work on Mac, Windows and Linux, has announced a new release of its E-meeting Portal 2.2, which enables Telcos and service providers to integrate Marratech into their existing products as an on-demand, pay-as-you-go service.

According to Magnus Hedberg, Chief Strategy Officer for Marratech AB in Sweden, large enterprises can use the new Application Programming Interface to collect billing information for internal chargeback. "The API is also our response to requests from universities for a solution that allows them to integrate Marratech with scheduling systems to reserve e-meeting rooms."

The upgraded Portal features improved node management and enhanced SIP support, making it compatible with Broadband Internet telephony services such as Broadvoice in the USA and Gossiptel in the UK. It also offers performance improvements for web meetings involving large numbers of users and improved web interface response for portal administration.

Added Mr. Hedberg: "The new portal reflects our commitment to on-going development which maintains Marratech's position as the world’s most complete web conferencing solution."
