Dynamic application sharing in new release of Marratech Pro

[Stockholm, May 7, 2004.] Marratech AB, the global technology leader in collaborative real-time solutions, today released an updated version of its award winning client software for e-meetings, Marratech© Pro 4.0. With the newly released client, users can in addition to the high functionality previously provided, experience real-time application sharing, a further improved voice quality and an even more user-friendly interface.

Marratech AB continues to build on its robust solution for efficient group collaboration with the release of the new client software, Marratech© Pro 4.0. With Marratech© Pro 4.0 you now have the ability to share, in real-time, live, dynamic application windows with the rest of the group. This is a strong feature that further increases the collaborative aspect of the Marratech Work Environment. The dynamic application sharing is done in the whiteboard, a whiteboard that in Marratech© Pro 4.0 is improved with the ability to scale objects and documents presented.

Building further on the cornerstone of simplicity and positive user experiences, a new look and feel is introduced; creating an enhanced and further simplified interface for Marratech© Pro. In addition to the new design, a new "Flexible" user interface is introduced were it is possible for users to easily adjust the size of the whiteboard, chat, video and participants areas presented on the desktop. Previous, well-known, interfaces are still present, including the Expert- and the Normal mode. As a user you now can switch between these available interfaces on the fly, increasing your flexibility in adapting to different user scenarios.

The voice quality in the Marratech Work Environment was already prior to this release the best of breed. In our continuous efforts to enhance the user experience further improvements are introduced in Marratech© Pro 4.0. Microphone input levels are adjusted automatically, ensuring the proper volume level is kept throughout the meeting. Improved, adaptable, silence suppression is introduced as well as new voice compression algorithms, giving DSL users access to even better voice quality than with previous versions.
