A real 'offer you can't refuse'

Any consultant offered something for nothing along with a claim that it can improve client relations and reduce costs by making them always available for meetings, is likely to react with thoughts of free lunches or 'pull the other one'. But e-meeting solutions company Marratech, may just have the genuine 'offer you can't refuse'.

Marratech is looking for Consulting Partners who will be given free use of award winning software which brings meetings, brainstorming, training and gathering feedback direct to the consultant's laptop or PC, eliminating the time consuming and costly process of getting everyone together in a single room.

Explained UK Director, Steve Milligan: "Marratech is the perfect solution for anyone whose daily business involves advice or coaching to senior executives, strategic research or training, or frequent collaboration with clients for update meetings or progress reviews. Now, they can have those meetings without leaving the office or even leaving home."

Marratech is the result of research that began ten years ago at Centre for Distance-Spanning Technology, Luleå University, Sweden, in conjunction with Ericsson and Telia. Explained Mr Milligan; "It was developed from the ground up as a total web-collaboration tool and is the only cross-platform e-meeting solution to combine high quality voice, video, whiteboard and application sharing in an encrypted, secure internet environment."

Meeting participants download free client software and join their on-line e-meeting in virtual meeting or consulting rooms on a Marratech portal installed on the company's server. It takes less than an hour to set up the system by remote control. Marratech will give a free Portal with full product training and support to its Consulting Partners providing they undertake to use it with their clients. Added Mr Milligan: "We think this is a great opportunity for forward thinking consultancies to become part of what is widely reported as the next great buisness communications revolution."
